TRANS HEALTH SCIENCE + YOU

$12.00

“My sweet friend who is also an amazing educator, healer, scholar, and community member. They are raising funds for a “DIY PHD,” their autonomous effort to continue their higher education outside of formal institutions. They decided to disengage with traditional academia after experiencing how violent and outdated it is, and now they are turning to community for support in their journey to create easy-to-access educational resources.” - Brown Recluse

A zine produced by Wisconsin Transgender Health Coalition & NONBINARY Zine

This zine is intended for a trans and nonbinary audience. In respect to a grant project being performed by the Wisconsin Transgender Health Coalition and University Wisconin-Madision for trans youth, it specifically targets youth ages 12-22 in rural/urban areas of Wisconsin. The zine is still super useful for all folks unfamiliar with the field, though we would have written very differently had it been for an older audience/based in California because our access to information, QTPOC resources, and conversations on the field in general are vastly more abundant than what currently exists in the state of Wisconsin.

Mx. J. Nyla is raising funds for a DIY PHD. All proceeds from this zine go to funding their PHD!
